Terms of service

Technical draft, not legal advice — have it reviewed by legal counsel before launch, especially once the real paywall is active (contract terms and the right of withdrawal then become legally relevant).

1. Service

Boommate matches compatible co-living partners based on a structured interview ("Kornelia") and a matching algorithm. Boommate is not a broker and does not conclude rental agreements; the platform only facilitates contact between offering and seeking users.

2. Registration

Use requires a minimum age of 18 and truthful information. Offering users go through an identity check before matches become visible.

3. Pricing

Boommate is currently free to use. A paid membership for seeking users is planned and will be announced with its own binding terms and right-of-withdrawal notice before it goes live.

4. User obligations

Exchanging private contact details (phone number, address, email) via the in-platform chat before an active viewing invitation is not intended and is technically filtered. Abusive, discriminatory or fraudulent content is prohibited.

5. Termination / account deletion

The account can be deleted at any time, with immediate effect, under "My account".

6. Liability

Boommate makes no warranty as to the accuracy of information provided by users and accepts no liability for arrangements made between users outside the platform.
